The security solutions embedded in the MPS video services have been accredited by major content owners like Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and Buena Vista International. As part of importing the distribution–ready content files into the MPP, they can optionally be encrypted with Microsoft DRM, or any other DRM solution selected by the customer.

All MPS Video Service client technologies fully support Microsoft DRM. Licenses are created at runtime using the license and policy rules set in the MPP. Each Content owner can have several different DRM profiles set up and assign groups of content to those files. The MPP offers very flexible options in setting the policies of how content can be presented and accessed. Individual pieces of content can have publishing rules applied to them by the Content owner stating where and when it will available for presentation and consumption. Blockouts and branding for different regions and syndication rules can be provided.
