to support all potential business models including subscription, pay-per-view,
and advertising funded services. We can also handle promotional bundling (e.g.
‘Buy One Get One Free’) as well as User Generated Content (UGC) including
options for revenue shares with content owners.
Online statistics on all transactions and general service usage will be
provided or can extracted through our web service APIs.
Distribution
MPS can offer cost efficient Content
Distribution Network (CDN) distribution through re-seller agreements with major
CDN vendors. Content hosted in MPS Video
Services can be streamed, progressively downloaded, or downloaded to any
platform in any format via any CDN or Peer-to-peer network provider.
Secure
The security solutions embedded
in the MPS Video Services have been accredited by major content owners like
Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures and Buena Vista International.
Content imported into the MPP
can automatically be encrypted for secure delivery to end-users. All MPS Video Services include Microsoft DRM;
other DRM solutions can be deployed.
The MPP has several options for
content access and presentation policies. Every content asset can have
individual access and publishing rules applied. Each service can have unique syndication
rules, access restrictions and block-outs.
As an alternative to content
encryption the MPS Video Services provides tools for secure ticketing – the
ability to give out a unique URL for each request that is only valid for a
single view. User Interface
All MPS Video Services
customers get access to User Interface (GUI) templates for PC, mobile, and TV that
can be skinned in order to quickly provide a branded video player for their
content – a compelling option for fast time to market. Our Software Development Kit (SDK) contains
tools (APIs) and documentation for creating your own GUI. MPS will provide developer support.
Upload
Our workflow based, upload and
ingest solution, makes the process of transcoding your content to the right
file format, simple and hassle free. The
solution can publish content to all platforms and devices including PC, mobile and
IPTV. Content can be provided as digital
files, analogue tapes, DVD’s, as well as live feeds over SDI or ASI up to HD
quality.
The MPP Content Management
engine provides extensive support for handling content metadata. Metadata can be automatically ingested,
manually entered, or imported, modified and exported using the MPP Integration
Services API.
Store
We can store your live and
pre-recorded content in resilient, infinitely scalable data-centers hosted by
Verizon Business around the World, or we can integrate our Publishing Platform
into your existing storage solution.
