Peerialism (Peer2View) The Peer2View project is designed to develop, deploy and validate a peer-to-peer live streaming platform that addresses three key needs not currently met by existing broadband infrastructures: efficient utilization of upload bandwidth available at peers; reduction in playback latency of video; and minimizing the amount of network traffic for ISPs through building an autonomous-system aware infrastructure. We address these challenges using techniques from peer-to-peer topology adaptation and optimization theory; our infrastructure will adapt its structure at runtime to meet the above optimization objectives.
